GENERAL INFORMATION & TERMS & CONDITIONS      

Travel Buddies is a Travel Club, we through various hotels, airlines, railroads, cruiselines,and other providers of accommodation, transportation or other services ("the suppliers") book various trips through a licensed and bonded travel agency. As such "Travel Buddies" makes every effort to ensure that the quality of the services rendered by the Suppliers is consistent with the descriptions provided. Note that pictures and photographs are not intended to be guarantees of all the attributes represented. From time to time, specific services may not be available for reasons beyond the control of Travel Buddies.

We strive to obtain the best value for our dollar and obtain any savings we can on all trips organized.

All coupons, exchange orders, receipts, contracts and tickets (the travel documents) are issued subject to any and all tariffs, terms and conditions under which such services are provided by the Suppliers. Your acceptance and use of such Travel Documents shall also evidence your consent to the following conditions.

TRAVEL INSURANCE: is mandatory for any trip taken with "Travel Buddies". Full Coverage Insurance, Medical, Cancellation & Interruption is what is required. If you have your own Medical Plan and have excellent coverage out of the country and can provide that information to "Travel Buddies" then you will only be required to purchase Cancellation & Interruption Insurance. INSURANCE MUST BE PURCHASED AT TIME OF DEPOSIT

Our American Travel Buddies, the medical only covers up to $20,000.00, so you would only be required to have our Non Medical Insurance, which covers cancellation & Interruption. But can sell the full package as long as you know that it only has a maximum of $20,000.00

TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION:

It is your responsibility of have your passport, VISA, or other documentation in proper order. Most countries now want to see that your passport is valid for 6 months past your departure date.

SMOKING POLICY:...All sleeping rooms are non-smoking. The exception to this rule is that if has been mutually agreed by both parties sharing the room that it is all right to smoke, then it is accepted. In this case, please notify "Travel Buddies" so that the necessary arrangements can be made for a smoking room. ALL ROOMS RESERVED, ARE RESERVED AS NON SMOKING1:

That you abide by all "NO SMOKING" RULES IMPOSED BY ANY OF THE SUPPLIERS.

REQUIRED TRAVEL SHOTS & MEDICATIONS

It is your own responsibility to contact your family doctor concerning what is best for your own health. Travel Buddies cannot be responsible for any illness contracted while on a Vacation. Your family doctor or Travel doctors will advise what shots and medications required for destination...e.g.: Malaria Pills, Yellow Fever Shots, Hepatitis shots....although personally I recommend everyone to keep their regular inoculations always up to date. Travel Buddies will pass on information received from the Tour Companies, but it is still best to talk with your Doctor.

ROOM-MATE MATCHING SERVICE

Travel Buddies offers a room-mate matching service that has been designed to cut the cost of the "single supplement". Travel Buddies must be advised at time of booking that a room-mate is required. Also Travel Buddies needs to know if a room-mate cannot be found , if you are willing to pay the single supplement charge. Book early to give Travel Buddies time to find you a room-mate. "Shares" cannot be guaranteed. However, Travel Buddies will always do everything we can to find a suitable room-mate for you. Please note, this is a FREE SERVICE.

TOUR GUIDES & HOSTING OF TRIPS

As Travel Buddies is a Travel Club, we will advise if the "Supplier" is supplying a "Tour Guide", if not then "Travel Buddies will Tour Guide the trip. "Host" meaning that we will have someone there to handle an emergency, organize the "Happy Hours", they will have paid to enjoy the trip, the same as you, so let the "Host"enjoy His or Her trip.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF TOUR COMPANIES, CRUISE LINES, AIR LINES

The information listed below is what they have listed in their brochures &/or tickets.

l: That neither the Company nor its affiliates, agents or employees shall be liable for any loss, injury, damage or claim to any person or property unless it arises from the intentional act of negligence of any one for whose actions the Company is responsible.

2: The rates quoted are either in Canadian Dollars or United States Dollars and are those in effect at the time printing. Should tariff or exchange rates vary at any time prior to the date of travel, the Companies reserve the right to change the stated rates without notice.

3:That neither "Travel Buddies", nor the Supplier, nor its affiliates, agents or employees shall be liable for any loss or damage resulting from insufficient passport, VISA, or other documentation.

5: That you will sign on request, an authorization to use the credit card whose number you have provided in payment for these services.

6:Your air ticket, cruise ticket, land package ticket, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between you and the appropriate supplier.

CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS:
Deposits are non-refundable. Once final payment has been received, it too will be totally non-refundable. Minimum number required for group travel. If numbers should fall below the minimum, Travel Buddies reserves the right to cancel the trip. If Travel Buddies cancels a trip, it would be prior to your final payment and your deposit would be completely refunded.
